Representatives of many Ukrainian universities attended in the event organised on 4-5 of June in the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs. The presentation and trainings prepared by our team were participated by employees from Lviv, Kyiv, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Vinnytsia, Poltava, Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Zaporizhzhya.

During the meeting the system’s capabilities and the new interface were presented by Business Development Manager Plagiat.pl in Ukraine Olha Bakalo. Participants also discussed on new ways of going through the system, detecting plagiarism and preventing it in educational sphere.

Executive Director for International Market Plagiat.pl Ali Tahmazov noted that the academic plagiarism is a big problem all over the world, but the main aim of the fight against plagiarism is prevention, not the penalties. While Rector of the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs Roman Blaguta shared the impressions of implementing the system Strikeplagiarism.com in the University and noted that the system is very convenient and quite suitable for them.

Significant interest was caused by the presentation of Universities which represented their experience of implementing the system : Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman, V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. During the online meeting with Product Manager Plagiat.pl in Romania Cristina Costiniuc there was also presented the experience of the system StrikePlagiarism.com in Romania. On the second day of the event, there was discussion on further possibilities for improving the system, individual trainings and consultations.
